Video Card - 4/17/2005 12:33:10
New issue. I am a big baseball fan and recently discovered the site mbl.tv. Can't tell you how excited I was to learn I could watch nearly any game via my PC. I have a fairly good monitor, a Sony flat panel. The picture quality however is fair at best and gets worse the larger I make the picture. Hence my question. Those of you with high end video cards, can you get a near perfect picture on streaming video even at full screen? Just wondering if an upgrade to my card will allow me to get a good picture. Appears my video card is:

S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR [Display adapter]

Not sure if it's integrated or not or if that would even make a difference. Thoughts?

Video quality with things like that is down to the file itself - I have several games installed (new and old), and they all look the same quality in a window, but on fullscreen, the older ones start to pixelate.

It's generally the file & resolution rather than the graphics card

I dunno' but I've been thinkig about upgrading my video card and this one caught my eye:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=674963&Sku=P450-8602

I know it comes with a rebate, but for the price it looks pretty compelling. Anyone have comments on this card for either Duane or myself?
