Hi Tink, and welcome to OF.

I liked the site and thought the main pic on the first page is great, though perhaps a little too large and better centred? The page says 'click picture to enter site', but doesn't say which picture. I tried clicking the main pic at the top of the page and of course nothing happened, clicked the 'train to Beckinsaleville' pic and of course off I went to the station, but there again I was confused - no instructions, no way to get back to the main page or anywhere else. I just clicked the picture because I couldn't think what else to do, and of course off I went then. Perhaps some instructions needed for the slow ones like me!

Probably the navigation on the first page could do with being a little more prominent, though I loved the idea of the town map for lost souls! The main problem I found was that other than the 'back' button on my browser, there was no way to get to anywhere else on any of the other pages, no navigation.

Overall though, I thought it was a good idea and you've obviously put a lot of work into it.

womble :)

PS - There's also a heck of a lot of blank space down at the bottom of the first page - I think you probably need to reduce your page height.

Hello Womble!

thanks for the welcome! I did the all the graphics first and uploaded them on frontpage and havent done anything ever since. Havent got the time to navigate through the workings of frontpage 2003 though.

Thank you for those very helpful suggestions! :) Ive resized the index page--so less blank space and clear instruction to click on the train pic below to go to the next page.

I will make navigation buttons soon! Should it be plain arrows or something more interesting?

cheers ;)

Personally I'd go for something plain or you run the risk of making it look too ''busy", but that's just my humble opinion.
