jholton -> FP keeps asking for username/pass (4/21/2005 15:24:37)

There is a user in my company that is trying to edit a section of our intranet. First he goes to File -> Open Site. Enters the address, and the username and password. No problem. Then, in the folder list, he double click's "default.asp" so he can edit it. When the file is loading he gets a logon prompt, like when he initially logged on. He hits cancel and another one pops up. He hits cancel about 20 times and then it opens the file for him. Why is this happening? My theory is he has links in the page to places his username doesnt' have permission to access. (But I'm just guessing) Can we turn this off? I'm using FP 2003 and do not have this problem. He's using FP 2000 or 2002, not sure which (He's in a different location than me). Thanks, John
