Need a new alternative to standard photo galleries?
I just had the pleasure last night of setting this up (not on my site). Easy setup, I love the image swaps, flash based.
- Intelligent image pre-loading.
- Lightweight (12k).
- Customizable interface - Set text color, frame color and width, navigation position.
- Resizable interface - Interface scales to fit browser window.
- Cross platform (requires Flash 6 or higher).
- International font support.
- Free!

The low-res demo page loads faster in FF than IE, but the layout in FF is probably not what the author intended. Also, the low-res demo page takes quite a while to download over a dial-up line. I got tired of waiting on the low-res page, so left the site.
Lastly, the color contrasts and font-sizes as used in the low-res demo would fail the 508 and Bobby standards miserably. I hope these items would be easily remedied in the customizable version of the software.
It's a product with potential, but additional work is desperately needed.
