How do I remove a Flash/Splash page that's part of a te... - 4/29/2005 13:27:54
I purchased a FP template that causes my web site to begin with a Flash/Splash page.  Other members on this board have convinced me that nobody likes opening Flash pages.  Can someone tell me how to get rid of this flash page without upsetting the rest of the template?

See: www.gracepresby.com

Thanks, Vicki

Vicki, you need to first make a backup of your entire site. I would browse to your website folder on your computer, and then copy the folder, paste it onto the desktop.

Then do this >

1. Open your web
2. Right-click  on the page that should be set as your homepage
3. Click "set as homepage"
4. Goto your Navigation view and make sure the Navigation has been updated.
5. Publich the page

If you notice it doesn't work, quickly open the backed up folder on your desktop, and then publish it to your website.

Thank you, Bob.  Your advice worked well.
