Hi,
In the bar at the bottom of my Windows XP Professional desktop screen were small icons that I used for opening programs (Outlook Express, Word, etc). They disappeared when my Dell 8400 hard drive crashed.
It seems like a simple thing but I have not been able to get the icons back. Can anyone tell me how to put them back?

I think you need to have the "quick launch" enabled (right click on the toolbar, select toolbars, select quicklaunch). Then just drag the programs you need there.
