Office Assistant problems - 5/5/2005 1:34:48
Ya okay, maybe people don't like these little critters, but I do. :)  Anyway, my point is this: I just upgraded to FP2003 (so far I mostly love it!) but am still running Office 2000. I am having problems with the OA stability. It reverts back to the Clippy default, or it says it's not installed at all. I'm sure it's just a conflict between versions of MS software because it only happens when I load up FP right after Office (usually Word), or when I load up Office right after FP.

A search through the forums here showed a couple of references to the problem but no solutions that I could see. I haven't had any luck in Googling it either. Has anyone found a solution or patch anywhere that makes them both play nice together? Or am I just going to have to put up with it until I can save my pennies to upgrade Office along with FP?

That's what I'm doing. :):)

Oh rats, I was afraid you were going to say that... Sigh...

Thanks Mike (I think  :)  )
