A <$2000 business computer - 5/5/2005 16:26:55
I need more cpu power than I do video card. I think a x300 might be too crappy for it, but at $75 it isn't a bad deal.

I like the raptor for speed, and the 250GB for Secure Connect.

Suggestions welcome:
--------------------------------
Western Digital 250GB SATA (secondary)
Western Digital Raptor WD740GD (main)
CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200)
NEC Black 16X DVD+/-R DVD
NEC Black 16X DVD+/-R DVD
XCLIO 450W ATX Power Supply
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Processor
Lian Li PC-V2100A Silver Aluminum ATX
---------------------------
Total Price: $1,386.45 Shipped

A $200 video card should be fine, any suggestions?

I am also thinking about doing a raid 1 and grab two X the current drives above, it would be about another $300 though..

Hmmmm... and here I thought a business computer could be had for under $500. I wish our Co. would let me use "applications" that "require" the use of a 3D video card...

:)
