I want to create an image so that it looks like it's a metal plate with engraved lines. That is, as if some metal has been cut out of the metal shape to create linear patterning. (I don't want it to look like the patterning is raised above the metal plate). Is it possible to do in Paint Shop Pro 9, which I have? Or is it possible in Photoshop, which I may be able to access? To get to the bevel emboss settings in photoshop 7 or cs, you: -right click the layer you want to add the effect to -Select Blending options -right click the bevel and emboss icon, -then mess witht he settings.
