Outlook Express Backup Question - 5/14/2005 22:21:46
My recent Dell 8400 hard drive crash reminded me that I have never learned how to backup my Outlook Express folders and Address book. I can't even find them! Can anyone give me a clue (since I am obviously clueless) about OE backup? Thanks, David

ritarun, Thanks for the response. I wanted to report on my results before now but schedules have kept me away. Will let you know how things go. Regards, David

I have never learned how to backup my Outlook Express folders and Address book David, Never say "whoops!" again: - for Outlook Express, use http://www.ajsystems.com/ea7.html - for Outlook, use http://www.ajsystems.com/obp5.html . I am completely satisfied with the OutBack Plus 5 product. BTW, your Personal Folders/Address Book reside in the Office Suite .pst file which is located at: C:\Documents and Settings\Computer Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook(Outlook Express)\ One corrupted file in Office and everything flushes which is why an "after factory" add-in helps one sleep at night.
