Use IP Address to find city, state, etc. - 5/18/2005 13:34:54
I have used this place in the past to help find out where someone is located: http://geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation
Simply enter an IP address, and then it will list all of the details for that IP address.
Note: this will not give you someone's name, address, or phone number
If you run a website and have log files, and need to find out who accessed a certain file and where they are located, this tool would be very useful. What you would do is review your log files, find the IP address in the log file, and then enter the address at the website above.

I use this too. It only finds about 1/2 of the IP's I enter. But still beats nothing.
