Server Error: Cannot close file "service.cnf". - 5/20/2005 14:30:25
Hi,
I am a newbie and I need some help or information to solving my dilema.  Once in a while I would encounter an error message:
Server Error: Cannot close file "service.cnf"  when I try to publish updates to my company's website.

This is an inconvience to me because I maintain the website and I also perform many updates a day.  If there is anyone out there that can provide me with the information to solve this annoyance I would really appreciate it.

Please respond ASAP for those who feel that they could help.

Thanks a lot,

Welcome To Outfront

service.cnf is a config file on the server.  What you will need to do is check the following things:

1) You have Admin priviliges on the account you are logging in with.
2) You haven't run out of webspace.
3) Your connection to the server isn't it timing out.

If anyone tells you to re-install the FPSe on the server, they are wrong, as this is merely an issue with either of the three criteria above:)
