Applying CSS to page genrated by a form? - 5/21/2005 20:11:47
Hi, I'm trying to put up a Discussion Forum on our HOA Website. I'm using FP2000 and used the Wizard to ctreate the basic forum.

Problem I'm having is I cannot find out how to apply the CSS to the generated Posts. Within the Post form I've set in inherit background for another page (which it does) but how do I get it to inherit the CSS?

Thanks,
Mark

I don't think you can with the basic FP Discussion wizard. You'd need to be able to get at the code that generates the posts and modify it to generate your ids and classes rather than the code bloat FP is famous for.

I've never used it myself. I've been told that it's a nightmare to maintain and administer if it gets popular.

What is a better alternative to using the FP Discussion Wizard? Can anyone provide links to better alternatives?

Thanks

Or, if your host won't allow you PHP, then you could try Snitz forums, which is asp based and free.
