caz Posts: 3468 Joined: 10/10/2001 From: Somewhere south of Chester, UK Status: offline	Accessibility and Frontpage - 5/26/2005 6:08:26 I came across this tutorial recently, which was quite an eyeopener for me- Frontpage accessibility techniques A comprehensive tutorial showing how Frontpage 2003 can be used for creating accessible web content. To my shame I had not taken any notice of this feature in FP, instead I had spent my time in code view, ignoring the help that was readily available on the Tools>Accessibilty toolbar. It certainly cuts coding and validity checking time, although as the tutorial mentions I still do a final check with the online validity checkers WCAG, as with I do with the (x)html and CSS.Just in case the standards may have changed. As a bonus it also gives instruction on how to create new normal.htm templates - no more having to write my own dtd's for each page; although the snippets feature is handy for doing that, it is a little long-winded in use. Hats off to MS, for once... The lazy person who lives inside me likes to use design view to create the bulk of a form.
