Where to put meta tags? - 6/1/2001 23:42:00
Where is the best place for meta tags? my index.htm page is a basic Welcome page and "You need Abode Acrobat to view this site, download here", and a link to the index2.htm page which has all the navigation and stuff. So do I put it on the index, or index2 page?

Thanks

Rodney

Hi Rodney,

You would put them right below the <head> tag while in HTML view.

I use <METAS> on every page. I put additional <METAS> on pages that I am trying to get rankings on.
