Background image problem. - 5/31/2005 21:19:14
Well, I don't know exactly where to start.  Every page has a background (the same one) except for my "home page."  I downloaded all of the images the same way, but I can't get the others to work.

Under "Page Properties,"  the background image is WhiteMarbleBackground.gif on all of the pages that work.  The one I would like on the home page always reads file:///C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/My Documents/My Webs/Portfolio/spaceview2.bmp  and I can't fix it.   How do I change the file location?  These two images are in the same folder.  I tried to copy-and-paste the image into the folder, as well as drag it in from the desktop.

I am completely dense when it comes to this, so thanks in advance!

In Frontpage 'Normal' view menu bar, click on Format > Background and delete anything showing in the path currently. Then use the Browse button to find the image in the folder of your web.

Ensure that path that shows once you have selected it, does not include all the bits it shouldn't have. If it does, edit them out and click ok.

I tried that and it didn't work...I was just getting a blank background.

But I figured it out and feel like such an idiot.  I didn't put the image through the FTP upload, so there was nothing to link to.  It works now.  THanks for the help!
