What OS? If on XP go to start>programs>administrative tools>services. Scroll down to N. See what services are still there for Norton. If you have completely removed Norton then any services for it right click on and select properties. Once there under "Startup Type" select "disabled". Take care, Brian

Yeah I saw that :) that s how i found this forum :) which i m begining to like a lot :) The link that sue is talking about goes to a symantec and they say something like : Symantec Knowledge Base We're Sorry ... An error has occurred in the Symantec Knowledge Base. This error will occur if you try to open a document for a discontinued product. So i m still stuck. thanks anyway bran
