Futuris Imager - how to compress files? - 6/9/2005 4:20:15
I have used Futuris Imager to crop pictures but now I want to use it to compress files but I don't know how to do this. Basically I need to save space on my website. I have found a few bitmap files and changed them to jpeg using Futuris but most of my files are already jpeg or gif. Can I compress them? (hope I have the terminology correct)

Thank you! I'll try that. Although someone else has now told me Futuris doesn't do compression of images. I might need another program.

the Gimp is free http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html :) don't forget that compressing a jpeg further will result in a loss of quality - if you have the original in an uncompressed format such as gif or tiff then use that instead to save/export from
