silentone867 -> Audio Problem : Error 3 (6/14/2005 16:44:23)
I went on to http://www.thepcmanwebsite.com to get games for my web, so I downloaded a game a free shockwave flash game console. After I downloaded it I had problems with my speakers. They wouldnt work so I deleted all of the game files from my computer and restarted it. My sound works, but after a few hours it doesnt and I have to restart again. I went to the Windows Update center but that didn't work. Then I looked on the controll panel and it said I had error 3 and that I needed more RAM. Is there any other way of fixing this with out getting the extra RAM?

Sounds like there is something still running that's taking up a load of your processing power. Given that you downloaded a game I would put my money on a trojan or similar coming down with the game and installing itself without you noticing.
I suggest you run an up to date virus checker through and then run Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware, and SpywareBlaster.
