USING INCLUDE PAGE COMPONENT - HELP - 6/17/2001 23:46:00
Hello again! I'm having a problem with the INCLUDE PAGE component. I learned to use them instead of shared borders (thanks to YOU guys) and really like them! The top of my page is a logo bar (included page) and the left of my page is a navigation bar (included page). My problem is that whenever I try to add anything to the "middle" or body of the page, I can not get the cursor to appear. All I get id that little hand holding a piece of paper. I know this is because of the included pages, but how can I get just a simple cursor so I can add text, images, ect. Thanks!

take out yout top include for a minute and you should be able to type in the top box.just type two lines of nonsense. Take out the first line and re-insert your top include there. Then place your second include below that. And make sure there isn't loads of extra space at the bottom of that top include. Sound like you might have some extra breaks or paragraph tags in there. --Bri ------------------ "Bother," said Pooh, as Piglet was assimilated by the Borg. ------------------- Work, work, work: http://www.appercept.co.uk Out of office hours: http://www.darlingbri.co.uk

You might also consider using tables....Place your includes in a top table and a left table. That'll leave the "middle" of the page open. ------------------ cecil@awesomehouse.com
