bobby -> RE: a question about WIKI (7/8/2005 11:20:27)

WIKI is not the same as CMS (similar in function but not in purpose) A CMS allows for remote administration content of a website. A Wiki (typically) is designed for community collaboration on content... multiple users/administrators, etc. that all have access to the same content and are able to make changes. An example is wikipedia that allows anyone to add or modify an entry in their online encyclopedia.
