I've tried their live CD in two laptops and wifi worked on both (at 802.11 b). One was a Sony, the other was a Toshiba (I think... might have been an HP) It's a hacked version of Debian/Knoppix (with a much easier installation routine if you decide to go that route) It also comes preloaded with the latest Nvidia drivers, RealPlayer, etc which is nice too _____________________________ If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress? It is just that the IPW2200 drivers do not seem to work well in linux (the card my laptop uses). The system is built around Knoppix with all the goodies inside. I can do a hard drive install instead of the CD, but it would take awhile for it to build and be configured. Mainly I am just looking for the card, and not the software. The cards on linuxelectrons show details that say it runs on XP. Where does it list its chipset? Knoppix rocks... it was actually my third experience with Linux and blew me away. I was never patient enough to go through a install with it though. SUSE and Mandrake were so much easier to get rolling on a hard drive.
