That pretty much sums up this topic. It is not difficult once you are able to master the validation issues. If you are using FP "out of the box" there is a good chance you have some issues to contend with when it comes to validation.
One thing that has not been covered are the software tools that are available to those with disabilities. All of the major browsers provide an interface for those with various disabilities. In IE, you can go to...
Tools > Internet Options > General > Accessibility
...and handle just about most of the major concerns brought up in this topic. Firefox, Opera and other popular browsers also offer alternatives. And then, let's not forget the plethora of software that is available in that market.
The area of accessbility is something that all of us should consider while designing websites. Once you address all of the basic rules of standards which includes validation, you are well on your way to becoming accessible.
Also keep in mind, that most search engine spiders are disabled. If you really think about it, a robot sees your page just as someone with certain disabilities does. Can you pass the test? ;)
