There is a huge amount of information around the web about accessibility, some of it well meaning but just plain wrong, some of it being altered to better fit requirements. It is only too easy to find an authoritative looking page, spend ages tweaking your site and then discover the information has been superceded.

This thread is for us to post the latest information we can find on accessibility dos and don'ts.

DON'T - Use Accesskeys - 8/1/2005 4:54:06   
Access Keys.

There is a lot of work going on to sort out Access Keys which are one of the biggest problems for accessibility at the moment. As of the date of posting, 1st August 2005 the situation is a discussed in the following link. As soon as there is new information on this I will update this post.
