I'm not using frames on this one BTW that old post of mine was about the existing site which I am replacing with a more accessible version. I'm using the method suggested by spitfire i.e. the skip links only appear on focus (and on hover in my case). Visually I think they look out of place and detract from the site so that way they are only seen by the screen reader. My main navigation comes first so I have put the skip links before this and skip linked to the main content, the product menu and the product group menu. I think I'm finally getting the logic into my thick skull.
