I would like visitors to my site to have the opportunity to send an html (something more than just text) invitation to a friend's email address. I've never done this so can you walk me through step by step?

Chad,
You would be better off finding a free script over at hotscripts. Find out if you can use PHP or ASP, then goto those sections of scripts.
