Small screen when opening new page - 8/20/2005 11:01:21
When I click on a link to open a new site, the new page opens up at about 3/4 size on my screen. I can't figure out what to change in my computer setup so that new pages open up to full screen view. Any ideas? I am using Windows XP.

Bob,

Maximize your screen (upper right hand corner) then restart. Windows XP should "remember" your last screen size.

If this doesn't do it, manually resize screen by dragging corners then restart. Windows XP should "remember" your last screen size.

Well, I guess my computer has a memory problem because it can't remember that I resized the screen prior to restarting. I tried both methods that Larry suggested and neither one improved the situation.

Bob,

Go to Start, Help & Support and Search for "Resizing Windows". More info from MickeySoft. Both my recommendations are there plus a few others. Perhaps the "Restore" command may help.

After resizing the browser by dragging the corners as suggested above, close the browser with the File, exit commands in the upper left, NOT THE X on the right.

This should save the browser settings.
