Embedding Fonts? - 8/22/2005 19:53:12
I made a simple little website for my wife's classroom. I found a really cool chalk font that it essential to the overall look of the site. My problem is that when people pull up this site, a default font is used. Is there a way to embed the font into the website so people can view it as it ought to be?

I'm new to styling issues, so any help will help.

no, there isnt. you could use the font in a graphics program and insert the image/ this is commonly done for headings though seldom for an entire page as it slows download time.

well there is WEFT (http://www.microsoft.com/typography/web/embedding/weft3/default.htm) IE only and there is a netscape only solution (can't remember) but no-one uses them as they are more trouble than they are worth. go with images as Dan advised above ;)
