I have some viewlets that people post to our website. Whenever someone modifies the shared borders, and applies it to the entire web site it applies to the viewlets as well and they stop working and must be reposted.

Whats the best workaround? Can I protect an entire folder from Web Site Modifications?

Any help appreciated.

I would put them in a subweb.
