64 Bit Server - 8/26/2005 23:46:08
Anyone here using the 64 Bit Windows 2003 Server?

Any issues or caveats?

I am trying to plan a migration of at least one web server and one DC/DNS Server to 64 bit and looking for any insight from real-world users...

I have been reading about the lack of Antivirus support, but have read much good about NOD32 and I do know that Symantec Corporate 10 has 64bit support.

I know we always wait a good 6 months to a year after a new product has hit the market....before we upgrade. I know 64bit has been out for a while, but I still say it's to new for where I work to replace the servers....I'm waiting until more companies write software/drivers, etc.....just my opinion

One of the web servers I plan on upgrading/replacing doesn't run much in the way of third party apps....and the DC I plan on putting in place just controls policy and dns...

So far I haven't heard anything untoward for these applications, but I am aggressivly looking for feedback.

Thanks for the input....
