Use isubmit.org? - 7/20/2001 20:24:00
I found: http://www.searchenginecolossus.com/ and on it was link to isubmit.org, to submit your url to over 1500 search engines. Is this a good idea, or is it better to do it individually. I know some like yahoo are picky. Thanks, Iain

You are probably better off submitting them yourself. It is not hard, just a little time consuming.I would like to know how many of those 1500 search engines are really used...what kind of traffic they handle. I would suggest sticking with the top 10-20. Sandy ------------------ Stu Reilly Design Allegheny Web Dreamweaver Sites

Another disadvantage of using these outomatic submissions things is that they usually automatically say 'Yes' to the forms on many of these 1500 sites that enquire if oyu wish to be added to their email list and receive infor from their 'partners'. You will be submerged in the resulting flood of spam.Take a look at www.selfpromotion.com which will semi automate your submissions and is free, with a voluntary payment if you like it. I do and have paid. ------------------ Katherine InKK Design LinKKs - Kilkenny's Online Magazine -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* "Dogs have owners, cats have staff!"
