Why are all sites starting to add hyperlinks off of key... - 7/20/2001 21:40:00
Why all of a sudden are sites (including this one and ones that I am developing) inserting their own links? They are always in yellow. Is this Microsoft's "Smart Tags"? I thought this was part of Office XP and FP 2002. I do not have FP 2002 so why is this appearing.How can I disable this. I know there was a way to disable smart tags but I am not sure if that is what this is.

khiser0001, it's not the web-sites, it's a third party program that is doing this. I am experiencing the same thing you are. Came to find out after that after I installed the napster clone KaZaA, that it also installs a program called Top Text.
http://www.ezula.com/TopText/popup.htmlDoes that look fimilar? Anyways, if that is it then you can uninstall it through your ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Hope this helps. Rodney

Thanks. That sounds right however it does it on a machine that never has had Kaza, Napster, or any other program such as this on it.I will remove from this machine though and see what happens. Thanks again
