Statistics and Logging Information - 9/2/2005 11:57:10
Hello I just wanted to know what everyone is using for giving stats on their websites, like hits, etc. I dont really like the FrontPage one that much so I wanted to try something new. WebTrends I have looked at but it is really costly. I tried installing another one called Sawmill but could not get it to work... Can anyone give me some ideas of other good programs?

I use awstat I like it gives you all kinds of info and its free....

I am not sure why you can't get sawmill to work as I felt it was fairly easy to configure, although it is not exactly inexpensive either, it has many features.

Well i installed it. Then when I go to run it from a machine. I get to the part where it asks to setup admin pass.. so i do that.. then it asks me which triial version i would liek ot try.. i select professional... then I cant get past that.. it gives me a page saying it cant find the file...
