I've just networked two machines at home (by cable, peer2peer). All other Internet functions are fine but I can't gain ftp access to my sites (tried Ace FTP, FP & IE6). It may be nothing to do with the new network (?) but on the other hand, does anyone know of a known problem like this after networking?

No, don't have a router. The machines just share access one through t'other. I've since got someone else to try in another location, using ie6, and no luck there, so I've concluded it must be my server - I'll contact the hosts tomorrow if it's still a problem
