Not sure of how to ask this IIS question... - 9/7/2005 12:29:18
Mornin' folks. I am having a slight problem with IIS. At least I think it is IIS that is causing the problem. I have created a very primitive search page that queries an Access database using multiple forms. I have uploaded the code for the search page in a txt file. The problem; when I publish the web to the localhost, this page is displayed differently. Only the first form shows up. The code is just cut off. I would have no problem tinkering with it to figure out the problem, but the code/page is complete in Frontpage, and then it is just plain gone in IIS. I uploaded the file to my "my documents" folder on msn and it opens just fine (although with no database connection). IIS is the only option I have available to me right now.....other than purchasing a host. I am not a smart man, but I know what stuck is.........and I'm stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated

What you can try, is opening the web on the localhost server directly. Select folder view, and look and see if the text file is there. If not, open windows explorer, right click and copy the file, then paste the file into the folder view in front page. Rick Universal4
