Well, maybe not problems but definate confusion. I posted regarding this not too long ago and Spooky suggested that I check the Books online with SQL server but I can't find anything specific to what I'm trying to do. I'm hoping maybe someone on here has experimented with something similar and can help me out.
I'm trying to take about 15 fields in a SQL table and update them into a db2 table on my as400 where the ID's match. Here's an example:
I first need to see if the job# exists, lets take 340001. If it does, there are roughly 15 fields that I need to update with the new values. If 340001 does not exist I need to create the record and insert the values from the sql table.
Does anyone have any examples or tutorials on doing this?
