Alt attribute in <noscript> image - 9/7/2005 19:21:30
I'm not sure if this properly belongs here or not, but here goes... In various places on my site I've got email addresses either obfuscated or generated by js. On the js ones I'm putting in <noscript> with an image of the address. Of course using xhtml strict, and wanting to be accessible, I kind of thought that the email address should go in the alt attribute, but, does that defeat the object of using js in the first place? Can the harvesters still get at it if it's in the alt alttribute? Or am I making life too complicated?
