I needed to unrestrict a particular page that belonged to a website that is restricted. I have an NT v4 server through which userid/passwords are assigned. I've done this before and used the same procedure but it did not work this time. Here's what I did.

I turned a folder which had the page in question into a web and then went to tools/security and clicked on apply to this web (not parent web) and made sure that the group everyone had access.

When I checked the page on a browser it still asks for a userid/password. Anyone know what I missed out? The only difference here (that I know of) is that the page I'm trying to unrestrict is an .asp page.

http://www.support.landmark.com/ptfs/

Here is what I'm having the problem with

http://www.support.landmark.com/beta/

(www.support.landmark.com is restricted and ptfs and beta are subwebs)
