bigtime -> Help with Robots.txt (9/12/2005 8:51:15)

Hello All,
I have a single web page that I would like all robots to just skip (it is a redirect page that writes to a database). I've searched through this site and cannot get it through my brain housing group exactly how to do this. I was hoping I could just put a meta tag on that page to tell the robot to go away from that page and index the rest of the site. Can anyone please provide the correct code to do this?

Many Thanks,
John

You can use robots.txt, but if it's just a single page, probably the easiest way is to use:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow" />

Thanks Womble,

That is exactly what I was looking for!!!

John
