Custom Shapes - 9/12/2005 15:25:42
Does anyone know where I can find a custom shape for a ribbon? The ribbon I am looking for is the one they use when referring to cancer etc. An example can be scene in the logo of FOTAS
or Until There's A Cure.

Thanks,

Karl

Istockphoto.com have vectors of different coloured awareness ribbons from $1 - just do a search on 'awareness ribbons' to see what they've got.

any graphics program
simply create a layer on top of the image and use the pencil or similar tool and trace... just like old fashioned tracing - then delete the bottom layer with their pic on it

pen tool is the best so you can modify the path afterwards and also it can be resized without loss of quality.

use pen tool and the stylus on your graphics tablet instead of a mouse
