Anyone else noticed that the W3C validator is suddenly producing loads of warnings about background-colour or lack of?

Yes, noticed it yesterday and thought "what the ....."

It kept saying my background and text were the same colour. Well yes they would have been if I hadn't applied a different colour in the external css. Very strange.

I think Dave's just asking for a slapping, but yes, it does seem to have been a mite tetchy of late.

No Dave - if it was using female though processes it'd be saying:

Warning: Do you really think that background colour is a good idea? It really clashes with the image colour.

But then again, if it was a male thought process it wouldn't notice there were any colours let alone whether they clashed or not. Unless of course if they matched their fave team shirt colours. :)

Are you sure you aren't all using the gay validator?

You'll know because it always says
"Mmmm nice, but it would look so much nicer in turquoise darling."
