PHP form to email - problem! - 9/19/2005 17:04:14
I know next to zilch about PHP - how to use an 'include' and how to set up a simple form to email (using someone else's code) is my sum knowledge. The latter has recently been causing me some concern...

I have used the same code on several sites, all without problem until the last month or two. But now I, and others I've done sites for, keep getting the PHP form abused in some way but I don't understand what is going on or what I can do about it... This is what's happening...

I get several webforms arrive in my inbox, all in close succession. They purport that the sender has an email address using my own domain - e.g.

Message from: voinjsv(or whatever letters that make no sense)@myowndomainname.com

none of the requested form fields are filled out except with the above email address and then... there is a BCC part with another email address in it! I do not have any BCC field on my form!?

What are they doing?

Help/advice much appreciated
