It isnt my forte (what is I wonder??) but I have a friend running for office on a limited budget and she asked me to help design a post card mailer (hey, never hurts to have a friend who is a Judge). what format do printers usually want things in? I assume it isnt .jpg. I have psp and fireworks to play with. thanks

Printers can handle .tif format and send the whole thing in a pdf. dave no doubt will give you more hints.

Caz is correct and also any images should be converted to CMYK format for commercial printing. The whole thing needs to be at least 300dpi.

looks like psp will be your best bet then ;)

check with your printer for the specs and what they are willing to accept! it's a lot easier than finding out afterwards that everything needs to be say 600ppi and you only have 72ppi for example
