Server error: Web.. is busy - 9/21/2005 23:12:50
I am so glad to have found this site.
I have been dealing with a problem off and on for a year.
Everyonce in a while I get an error message when I attempt to log on to my remote site. It comes up even before I get the username and password screen. When I call the webmaster that has the root web, he is having no problem and can open my sub web. The help desk can't see a problem, but they fix it by restarting iis.
Here is the error:
Server error: Web/school/seton_catholic_hs is busy.
It appears to happen when there are a lot of hits on the .asp pages. Im using Windows XP (although it also happens from work which is Windows NT) and FP 2002 10.6308.6735 SP3 with IIS 5.0 and

Are you also connected to the server while this is happening? I have seen this happen to me a few times when I am connected to the server via remote desktop.

No. I don't even get a chance to connect before the error message comes up. I open frontpage, Open> Web > choose the address and then the task bar says it is loading, I get a little hourglass for about 20 seconds and then the error pops up.

From what you have described, it is a server issue that your hosting company needs to resolve. It could be a memory problem on the server
