A rose by any other name - 9/22/2005 12:45:48
Hi Everyone,
I'm an IT guy setting up a member's area for the company's public website. The problem is after I set up the account and the user (I still haven't got a clue why I have them both setup, but frontpage ask for one and I gave it). But when I try to access I don't know the structure it is looking for. For example all external login's to my company is xyz\user, but somtimes when accessing outlook webaccess it comes up with xyz.net\user and the user has to change it back to xyz\user. Now I've tried every conceivable form of user including just user, but I get nada. Can someone help me here?

oops forgot to mention some things:
my company is on a server2003 network
the site is on a domain controller
I put a hole in the firewall to allow access to the site
