Sorry about the nwbie question. I have searched the forums for a while and havent been able to find this out.

Am I able to copy the all of the layout code from an existing page and dump it into a css sheet??

probably a silly question but if you dont ask...........

well I have a very new site that I am starting www.simplycheats.net and I was wondering If i could copy the complete layout into a css sheet so I can then alter the table positioning and/or text properties as and when i choose.

I am afraid you cannot. the syntax for css is different than html - you cant simply put html into a style sheet. I will tell you as others will that learning css isnt hard if you take one step at a time....and is well worth the effort.

No. You can't copy all the html in. You still have stuff like <p> in your page you just style the <p> in the stylesheet.
