Frontpage and Bluehost.. please help - 9/23/2005 13:50:12
Ok.. first of all, I'm new to this. Second of all, I'm not sure I'm in the right place. Created a page with FP 2003. Using Bluehost to host it. I uploaded the site via FTP. I have continued to make some changes and uploaded some changes yesterday (have uploaded changes a few times). All of a sudden my page won't show right at all. When I type in www.drandcrew.com, I get directories showing and now website at all. It is so messed up. I tried to reupload again and nothng. Everything shows as in conflict or unmatched but all of my pages look fine on FP. I have asked Bluehost to delete everything and try to upload fresh but my issue is.. what caused the problem in the first place???

First - if you are using Frontpage components (like the forms, etc) you need to publish your website with Frontpage and not use FTP.

I think you have the other part fixed also? You need to name you home page something like index.htm, index.html etc - unless your hosting company will change the default home page name

Yep, I think this is part of the problem...

I uploaded the site via FTP

I originally thought the site was OK but after clicking a few links there is some broken pics and the like
