Hey all....

I downloaded a copy of Dreamweaver 8 this afternoon to help me out in applying my companies new CSS standard across our pages.

Here is my issue.

I need a fast way of applying our new Standard CSS to about 4000 static html pages! The people who created these pages did not use includes, headers, footers....Etc. Everything was hand coded in html.

Is there a way using Dreamweaver 8 to create a batch job that would implement the CSS across all pages for me ?

I haven't used DW since version 4 (I think)

Does 8 have a Find > Replace option that will affect all pages, or all open pages?

If so I would try this:

Replace: <body>
With: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="yourstylesheet.css" ><body>

see if that does it...

Edit..find and replace..find in : entire site
have you created a "site" yet? Site..Manage Sties ..new
