Photoshop Elements 2.0 - 9/28/2005 22:33:04
i have a picture of an Auto brochure that was photocopied and transfered to the internet. the phot is rather grainy and the letters are hard to make out. i was wondering if there is a way to touch up the letters without distorting the image worse?

thanks.

link to the picture i have.

I don't think you're going to do a lot with that to be honest. You could select the pic copy it and paste it into a new image and then paste it back as a new layer when you've finished tweaking the text bit.

Unsharp mask will sharpen it a bit, you'll need to play around with the settings.

If you only have that photocopy available then I'd go hunting for a better copy. If it's recent then try the manufacturer's web site, there may be a pdf version on there. Call the manufacturer and see if they have an original you can scan otherwise, fire up publisher or similar and type the whole lot in and paste the graphic at the bottom.
