Spooky
I double checked with my host, the directory has read/execute permissions and the script is almost identical to what you sent me (small variation in how the file name is handled)
But it's still not working.
I just emailed you a couple of links along with my password. If you get a minute, can you see what happens when you try to do it?
I'm wondering if it isn't a local problem on my machine...

Perhaps its also to do with antivirus / firewall they are running? Theres some issue obviously with PDF's. You stated it worked with other files. It does so with doc and xls as well?

I haven't tried with .xls
.doc, .zip, .jpg all work just dandy.
They won't give me any info on their firewall settings or any compression software they might be running... what do you expect from a free hosted site..? We're hosted by our telecom provider... web space is included and they support everything we've needed so far (just not streaming pdf's aparently)
Until we can get our own in-house server I'm going to use a database to pull it into a chromeless pop-up window. Unless I can figure out how to get this to work...
